GAINESVILLE, Fla., December 7, 2016 — Harbor Community Bank welcomes long-time Gainesville resident and veteran commercial lender Paul Haven to its commercial lending team.

Haven, who recently accepted a position as vice president of commercial lending for the Gainesville market, has worked in the banking industry for over 32 years with a focus on private and commercial lending for the medical community. Prior to joining Harbor, Haven worked as vice president of commercial lending for Florida Capital Bank.

“Paul’s expertise in commercial lending and strong ties to the Gainesville community make him a great asset to our team,” said North Central Market President Bob Page. “Adding him to our roster allows us to better serve the needs of the community.”

The University of Florida alum is an active member of the Gainesville Quarterback Club, a booster organization that helps fund scholarships for the Florida Gators. Haven’s commitment to his community does not stop there. He also sits on the board for the Neighborhood Housing Development Corp. (NHDC), which provides housing for low to moderate-income families within the city of Gainesville and surrounding counties.

Andra Martin, who has worked with Haven in an administrative capacity for more than two decades, has also joined Harbor.

“Over the years, Andra has been an instrumental part of my success as a banker,” said Haven. “I am excited to have the opportunity to work with her here at Harbor.”
